Daycare Rates  

Single full day: $19.00
Additional dogs owned by one client and attending on the same day receive a 25% discount on the full day rate.

Half day (up to five hours): $12.00

Multiple Day Passes — Our Play Passes offer discounts for our frequent players. They can be used any day over a six month period from the date of purchase.

Daycare Requirements

It’s our goal to provide a great environment where dogs can have fun interaction with other dogs as well as our Pooches staff. Dogs are social animals by nature, so playing in a group setting is actually very healthy for all good-tempered dogs.

Your dog’s evaluation will take place during its first day with us at Pooches. We find that dogs act one way with owners present and generally act completely differently when owners are not around. For that reason, we will introduce your dog to our program after drop-off. We introduce our new dogs carefully and gradually to ensure a smooth transition into group play.

Also, when a new dog first comes to our lobby, he can be very unsure and may even think he’s at the veterinarian. It takes a little time for a dog to realize that Pooches is all about play and good times, so don’t be surprised if your pooch seems a little nervous at first. We have no doubt he’ll soon be blasting through our front door to join in the fun like our other regulars do!

Rules…there have to be rules!

Following are our requirements for a dog to participate in our daycare program. All of our rules are in place for the welfare of our canine clients. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

1. You must provide proof of current vaccinations including Bordetella to aid in prevention of Canine Cough.

2. All dogs six months of age and older must be spayed or neutered (intact dogs may day board. Bitches in season are not allowed).

3. You must submit a daycare application. You may use our convenient online application or you may complete a paper version at Pooches.

4. Candidates for dog daycare must be of sound temperament and must allow Pooches employees to handle them easily. We do use the daycare environment for training shy or timid dogs so please let us know if your dog has any special needs. Aggressive or unpredictable dogs will not be allowed in daycare.

5. Dogs with any health concerns will not be admitted into daycare. If you notice any coughing, loss of appetite, lethargy, diarrhea, vomiting or any other sign of potential illness, please keep your dog home from daycare and please let us know. If your dog exhibits any symptoms while it is in our care, we will pull it from our playgroups, isolate it and call you for immediate pick-up.
